| Dear
Sir,
Last Saturday my wife and I were in
Haarlem, where we visited the Grote Kerk at approximately 1-45.
There quite unexpectedly, we enjoyed one of the most sublime musical
experiences of our lives. We came in just as your choir moved into
position to sing a "call and response" item.
I have no idea what it was called or who the composer was but at the end
my wife and I turned to each other, to find both of us had tears in our
eyes. Your choir continued to sing
|
with such clarity passion and beauty that
made the next twenty minutes the high-light of our weeks trip to
Amsterdam.
We would like to thank you and the choir for making our visit to an
already impressive location such a moment of serendipity. Please
pass on our thanks and best wishes and hopes that others will continue
to enjoy moments of such pleasure through your hard work
Yours sincerely
