If you have not yet sampled music making in the Crypt
Concert Room, how about trying out this concert called
Paris Encore. The sound is a delight in this space and
the Cathedral's Chamber Orchestra is on excellent form.
It is much enjoying the rehearsals for this
light-hearted programme which features the leader, Leo
Byrne, playing the well-known violin solo - Meditation
from Thais, and ends with Bizet's gem, the Symphony in
C, which contains some wonderful tunes for wind players.
There are always interval refreshments. Glasses of wine
seem to be the most popular choice.
