Sponsors The Cathedral Concerts Society is a registered charity which is entirely self-financing. Sponsorship is vital to our existence, enabling us to continue to offer a varied and exciting programme of both favourite and lesser-known music. From as little as £150 you or your company could become sponsors of a concert. The benefits are:

Your company name and logo on the season’s brochure (circulation 6000)
Your company name and logo on all publicity associated with the concert you sponsor.
Entrance to the concert for yourself and guests free of charge.

Patrons Patrons provide a further vital element of the Society’s annual income. There is no fixed donation beyond the minimum contribution for new patrons of £10 per year. For this you receive:

Your name listed in every concert programme
An invitation to attend the summer concert free of charge
Our heartfelt thanks

Players We give about 6 concerts a year, both orchestral and choral (with our Cantata Choir).
The Cathedral Orchestra rehearses on Tuesday during term-time, 7.30 - 10.00 at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
String players (Grade 8 and above) are always welcome, especially violins. We also have vacancies for brass and percussion.
The Society aims to put on programmes of challenging music that is rarely heard.

Players may park in the underground car park under the Cathedral for practices and performances.
Annual Membership of the orchestra is £25 (£15 for students/unwaged)
