The Cathedral and Concerts Society are following the advice of Public Health England and the Bishops' Conference, neither of which have said that public events should be cancelled. There are clearer guidelines for the celebration of Mass which the Cathedral are adhering to and they have put in extra stringent cleaning methods and all their staff have hand sanitizer. The Society will attempt to provide sanitizer gel for the audience and performers but, given the empty shelves which abound, cannot guarantee being able to do so. Members of the audience and performers are advised to take their own hygiene precautions as recommended by the Department of Health.
Should this situation change before the concert then we will post a message here and on Facebook and will give full refunds to anyone holding a ticket should the concert have to be cancelled at short notice.
