The Mozart Overture and Symphony are famous but not the other pieces. 
The Concert aria is one of the most beautiful works Mozart ever wrote – he composed it for himself and one of his favourite singers and it is paired here with a new piece written especially for Barbara Ruzsics. 
Beethoven’s charming Rondino dates from the time when he hoped to study with Mozart in Vienna.

Concerts in the Crypt 

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral  Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L3 5TQ. MAP

Parking The Cathedral Car Park accessed from Mount Pleasant is under the cathedral with direct access to the concert venue by lift or stairs. Limited capacity on a first come first served basis.   A charge of £3.00 is payable on arrival.

Doors open at 7pm

Access  The ONLY Access for Crypt Concerts is through the underground car park. 

Access for the Disabled  The Crypt is accessible using the lift situated in the Rotunda, via the underground car park shown 

Toilets  Located at Crypt level.

Refreshments  are available next to the  Crypt Concert Room during the interval at most events.
