In Memoriam 1914

A letter from Captain Law who attended the Armistice Day Concert with his wife:
“ I am writing to thank you and the Cathedral Concerts Society for your invite to the concert for Armistice Day. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. It was an insight to the hard work and dedication that goes into the preparation for one of these performances. Brenda and I were moved by the music and poems performed and in particular the world premiere pieces. I found the whole concert very moving and perhaps because of my association, very emotional at times. Please pass on our thanks and praises to all those who took part.” |
