Britten Centenary Concert II - Britten and Friends 
Saturday 12th October, 2013, 7.30 pm

To mark Benjamin Britten’s centenary his music is allied with that of two of his favourite composers, Mozart (Piano Concerto No 21 in C) and Schubert (his youthful 2nd Symphony).   From Britten himself there is his last completed work, the Welcome Ode and excerpts from his coronation opera ‘Gloriana’.

Access to Crypt concerts is via the underground car park shown on this MAP by the red pointer 
Access by lift for this concert is through the Car Park Entrance. 
Doors normally open at 7pm and Interval refreshments are available. 
There is a charge of £3 to use the Cathedral car park  collected at the entrance gate.
