​A ravishing collection of mainly English and French music spanning the century from the 1830's to the 1930's, including the orchestral song cycle by Berlioz, delicate romantic orchestral pieces by Mendelssohn and Delius and the cantata for Chorus and Orchestra by Vaughan Williams  adapted from his opera Sir John in Love.

Concerts in the Cathedral

Parking  The Cathedral Car Park accessed from Mount Pleasant is under the cathedral with direct access to the concert venue by lift or stairs. Limited capacity on a first come first served basis.   A charge of £3.00 is payable on arrival.

Doors open at 7pm

Access for Concerts in the Cathedral is through the main doors or underground car park 

Access for the Disabled   is via the lift in the lower porch from the underground car park shown 

Toilets  Located in the lower porch of the Cathedral

Refreshments    are available in the Gibberd Room in the lower porch during the interval at most events
