This is the first of two concerts marking the centenary of the birthday of one of Britain’s greatest composers. It includes three of his most inventive choral works with pieces by Tallis and others, sung by the Boy and Girl Choristers and the Gentlemen of the Cathedral Choir. Our second Britten Centenary Concert is on 12th October.

Access by lift for this concert is through the Car Park Entrance. Doors normally open at 7pm and Interval refreshments are available. There is a charge of £3 to use the Cathedral car park collected at the entrance gate. Prices of admission
