Venue: St Faiths Church Great Crosby |
A rare performance of one of Liszt's late works, one that the composer himself thought among his best.
Composed in 1878, Via Crucis follows the 14 Stations of the Cross, with the settings divided between movements for organ piano chorus and baritone soloist. Each Station will be accompanied by readings from scripture and prayer, and attendees are warmly invited to move between the stations if they wish |
